As a model continuation high school, Eric Birch provides an alternative pathway to graduation through a personalized credit recovery program designed to prepare students for college, careers, and life beyond high school. Every student follows an individualized path toward success, with opportunities to return to their comprehensive high school or continue their journey as a proud Jaguar graduate.

Assistant Principal - Dr. Jorge Arauz

Dr. Jorge D. Arauz is proud to serve as Assistant Principal at Eric Birch High School. With over 26 years in education, he has dedicated his career to supporting students, empowering educators, and building strong school communities. Dr. Arauz holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has extensive experience as both a principal and assistant principal across elementary and secondary schools. His professional interests include the science of learning and development, English Language Development (ELD), multilingual education, instructional leadership, and creating equitable learning opportunities for all students. He is also passionate about fostering meaningful family partnerships and believes that strong parent engagement is essential to student success.
